Helping Kiwi love where they live, work and play

For over 50 years, we’ve been lending a hand in our communities where we can. Across New Zealand, our stores get behind hundreds of initiatives each year to help with projects in their communities. Whether it’s schools, clubs, charities and not-for-profit organisations, we love to roll up our sleeves and tackle projects that will help Kiwi love where they live, work, and play.

The Mitre 10 Helping Hands programme works locally, being driven by individual stores, as well as nationally, where pooled resources allow us to tackle bigger initiatives, such as Project Playground.

We’re proud to partner with Kindness Collective to support those in need, to sponsor the New Zealand Community of the Year category at the Kiwibank New Zealander of the Year Awards, and to work alongside community groups offering hands-on help wherever it’s needed.
